Both have meshy material to help ease the hotness of wearing a baby carrier. He will not be using a carrier because he has arms BUT he's all for me using one and is actually really excited about my attachment parenting plans :) He's just not going to be the one carrying LO in the carrier. I have the Moby wrap for when LO is a newborn and the Ergo for when LO gets a bit older. When I was picking out our Ergo I narrowed it down to two (khahki or gray w/stars) and let him pick which we got (I was surprised when he picked the gray w/stars). When the Ergo arrived and we were getting ready to head out on our first walk he actually insisted on wearing her and often fights me to wear her.
