My husband is one of the most involved dads I know. I always want to do something great for him for Father's Day since I don't always get to show him on a day to day basis how much I appreciate him. When he is home, he does SO much. That being said, he is currently on his 6th business trip since the end of January (I know some ppl travel a LOT but this is totally out of the norm for us), so I have done a whole lot on my own lately. But he is a great dad. But I am going away for a long weekend in June...and I JUST discovered it is on Father's Day. Oops. Let me tell you, if he dropped me with the gals over Mother's Day, on my own? Or alternatively if they're not that into it, do you hold back a bit on Father's Day or Mother's Day?
