I want to control who can see pics of my LO online so we shared with family only by an shared album that you had to be invited and log on to see. Well...SIL took it upon herself to download and post our photos to FB when we made a big deal that we did not want them on there. She got nasty when I asked her to take them down so I stopped sharing with her. They are your pics and your LO so you should be able to dictate how they are shared. LOL that would annoy me and I also bet she knows how to share them! My mom lives far away so she really relies on FB to keep up with DD's activities and that is ok with me.. BUT she constantly tags herself in my pics!! And sometimes she'll even tag herself AFTER I've already tagged her. I know she misses DD so I will occasionally tag her so that when she gets on she'll have a little surprise and I know she'll like that.. but geesh.. don't double tag yourself! It's why I stopped putting pics on FB a long time ago. My MIL flat out right click saves pics. So, I post them to a Shutterfly site with the inability to right click save them. This is the same woman who cropped me out of a birth pic of my son. I changed all privacy settings on FB, so she can't do that anymore. It slightly annoys me, but it's more that I think it's bad "facebook etiquette" or something. I don't really care since I know it's just that he loves his grandkids so much, but I do make comments to DH when he does it. The thing that annoys me a little bit more, as @wonderstruck: suggests, is that we hardly ever see him yet he posts the pictures with his own captions, like, C on St. Pat's Day-- and it looks like he visited us for St. Patrick's day, when in fact he was 5 hours away, as he always is. He definitely could visit more, but he has some anxiety about traveling (which he wouldn't admit) so whatever. </p> <p>As long as he is doing this with a photo I already posted to FB, I don't really care. I put it on FB, and I kind of figure no matter the privacy settings, it's out there. He has done it once with a photo I only posted to our private share site, which I did think was worse, but I didn't really care so I let it go. My mom lives 1300 miles away and can't visit easily. MIL is a four hour drive and she has come twice in LO's 18 months. To be fair, she doesn't have a lot of $$ and gas is expensive. Also, since her last visit, DH and I decided that her husband (DH's "stepfather"), who DH has never liked, isn't allowed to come anymore. He's generally creepy, but now we're pretty convinced that he's on something illegal. Except she doesn't know how to save them to her camera roll so she just screenshots the text message and then uploads it.
