For $20 extra, DD2 can stay until 1 (normally she goes 9-12), and I have to send lunch. It's definitely worth it on days I'm not 100% sure I can get there on time, like if I have a doctor appointment - saves me lots of stress!

Yeah, my daughter will be. Her preschool is the afternoon, but both me and DH work full time. So, she is doing before care at the school in the morning, eating lunch there and then going to preschool. We tried to get into the morning class, but didn't have luck. The transition should be interesting. She doesn't nap at home, but will sometimes currently at daycare. I think that we might be bringing home a bear most days.

Yes, but we pack lunch. Her school day is 8-12 and lunch is at about 11:15. It's early for her to eat and she usually finishes or has a snack once we're home. But the whole table manners, opening containers, cleaning up, etc. thing is a part of Montessori "Grace & Courtesy" lessons.

Mine does. It's $8 extra for provided organic lunch and an extra hour of care.
The extra hour actually makes afternoon school doable. Otherwise drop off and nap time for baby sisters would conflict and mama needs nap time.

She's going in the morning, 9-12. I have the option of having her stay an extra hour for lunch and playtime, but I have to pay extra for it and send lunch. Since she naps around 1/1:30, I'm planning to pick up at 12 and eat lunch at home, but if she drops the nap I might add it later in the year. The director said about half of the kids in her class are staying. If it was free and all the kids were eating the same thing, I would probably do it-- I think that's a good thing to get kids to try other foods, when they see the other kids doing it.

We just found out that they serve lunch for free at LO's school right when they get there at 12:45, I had no idea this was going to be an option since school is just 12:45-3:45. I guess if they don't want to eat they can take that time to look at books. I'm sure we will take advantage of it though!
