Mine itches if I forget to moisturise it. Like itches intensely. I worry I'll forget I'm in public and scratch it making everyone think I've got crabs or something :P

My incision healed really well. Every once in a while I get a pain that feels like its about to come apart. I'm 8 months pp.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: My doctor instructed me at my 1 week PP appointment to remove the steri strips. I was too afraid to touch them and when I came back when my incision popped open a couple of weeks later she got mad when she saw some were still there. Lol!!

@Dandelion: I still have a few steri strips on and I can't bear to pull them off. Even though I can see a healed scar I'm convinced they're holding me closed & if they come off my inscision will break open.

I'm a mess this time :/

I'm 2.5 years out and it's still sensitive. My son somehow knows how to dig his little toes into it when I'm carrying him. Leaning against the counter can sometimes hurt, too. I never had any issues with the incision, but I think I must have a bit of interior scar tissue that makes it so sensitive.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: yep, same thing. It was very freaky! The crazy thing is that I have a similar bump on my navel incision from my gall bladder surgery. I'm just waiting for the creepy burst, lol.

@Dandelion: I just saw that! Duh. I remember now.

I had a teeny tiny spot open *above* my inscision line. I was so freaked out and thought I would get a nasty infection.

Like you, it was a small pocket fluid. My OB told me to do warm compresses 3x/day and it drained all the fluid & now it looks healed.

But holy cow I was freaking out at the red bubble that was draining clear fluid. Eeeeehhh!

Yup. Mine came open to so I was super nervous about it. I don't want to say it hurts but it more tingles and has other weird sensations occasionally. So weird!

Yes - after my first. Sometimes it felt like a tugging in the inside and the scar itched. Not the second time around. This time I massaged it more and don't feel anything and I'm 3 months pp.

Yes! Mine sort of pulls if I stretch really far and it's still tender if I bump up against something or my daughter bumps it when she's climbing all over me. I'm a year post partum.

I'll have to get over it because in about 6 more months I'm planning on stretching it out again!
