Through cries of anger. I really need her to do it, though, because I'm worried about a spot on her head.

Sometimes. DS isn't a huge fan of it. Apparently carrying them in an upright sling works the same muscles. We do that so I'm not worried.

in the beginning tummy time required a lot of encouragement songs and praise. But 6 months in I'm glad I stuck with it. Once she learned to roll from back to tummy she loved being on her tummy. I now put down a large blanket and several toys and she just rolls from toy to toy. It's like once she controlled being there it wasn't so bad.

We do but now that DD is rolling from tummy to back she isn't there long enough to get much out of it :)

When I remember... which isn't often. Luckily they do tummy time at daycare, so he gets it in! He's not really a fan of tummy time unless it's on our chest. If he's on the activity mat, he gets annoyed quickly.

My DD is 12 weeks at hates tummy time, but is so strong, I find if I help roll her from back to tummy she likes it much more than if I just plop her down on her tummy, she also likes looking at herself on my phone camera :)

@sorrycharlie: My 3 week old is the same. Been lifting her head since birth--definitely a little creepy. She lays on my chest and then she'll raise her tiny head and sometimes bob it around. She hates tummy time on her activity mat.

She doesn't mind it sometimes. She usually lays there sucking her hand or makes noises and tries to get up.

She doesn't mind tummy time. She is rolling so when she's tired of tummy time, she rolls to her back.

@Beth24: Yes, the doctor told me the same thing. She said all babies develop at their own rate. I just wish he would develop a love for tummy time. LOL.

He hates it. He has reflux and I think it really bothers him. He definitely does not go to sleep. He's very strong and can almost roll.

@Mrs.Waffles: right there with you! DD is 6 months old and has always hated tummy time. Also had no interest in rolling over but has done it a few times when she gets really mad and wants to get off her tummy. It's hard not to worry but I keep telling myself that she's on her own timeline!

A loves tummy time on her mat and in the crib. She's been sitting up on her elbows for a while so it's fun to see her set herself up.

mainly on us before 2 months but now will spend some time on her mat. She's also a tummy sleeper so when she's awake she will lift her head as high as she can and look around to see where we are!

Yes, but he hates it. He's gotten a little better with it now. He's six months has only rolled over twice, but has no interest in being on his tummy or rolling over. A little concern. Loves to sit though.

mine just went to sleep. ha!! but she's scary strong and has been holding her head up since birth. she's so tiny it's a little weird looking but..I'm trying at least.

she mainly does her 'tummy time' on our chests. in her pnp or crib, or playmat, she goes to sleep!
