Thanks again for the info. They just logged some information about my phone, took it in the back and replaced the battery. It took about 30 minutes. They'll warn you that they might not be able to remove the battery, and if that's the case, they'll give you a loaner phone and ship you a brand new one.</p> <p>Same phone, just a new battery. When he complained at the Apple store (Chelsea or SOHO in NY), they just gave him a new phone. He was really pleased. The second phone ended up having the same problem, so he complained again a month or so later and got another one. The current one does better than the first two but still doesn't last as long as my older iPhone. </p> <p>I'm a little worried that this might actually make it harder to get a phone or battery replaced (if it doesn't fall within the specified numbers). Before, all he had to do was complain about battery life to get an entirely new phone! Like accidents, police, heavy traffic, construction, road closures can be reported and allow others to avoid the area. I love it. It's a free app but I would so pay for this app. It has gotten me out of sitting in traffic so many times.
