Yes but only in case she tries to ask to nurse. She doesn't drink much of it anyways.

She keeps a camelback eddy on the edge of her bedframe. She's been night trained since July and only had one bedwetting accident.

Nope. She gets a drink at bedtime if she asks but that is in the bathroom. We limit the amount she can have.

Yes. I think it's a security item for her. She doesn't drink till she falls asleep or anything. She just likes to hold it

Yup. She likes to take a sip before I leave and I guess she takes a sip when she wakes up? She's been night potty trained for a while and it's never been an issue.
It stays on her dresser.

He did this a lot, but I've been trying to limit it because we're trying to night potty train him and it's not going very well.

Yes, my DS asks for a cup of ice water to keep by his bed. Sometimes by the next morning it is empty. But he his potty trained and will sometimes get up and use the restroom by himself. I guess he gets thirsty at night?

We started this habit with the girls at a pretty young age (around 1 maybe) by letting them bring water to bed. It hasn't had any negative impacts so we allow it. It's one less thing they can wake up and ask for in the MOTN! We did cut it back a bit when LO1 was potty training though.
