Mr RnR very rarely refers to me as Mommy or Mama or by my name, so she came up with her own term for me. Because of that, we started to "practice" saying those words to each other and it stuck. We're not into terms of affection, so we STILL call each other "boyfriend" and "girlfriend!"</p> <p>I really haven't thought about the possibility that our children would start calling us by these words until I read this post. But then Charlie started calling out "Bee!!!" when he wanted her to come.. Seriously Charlie... don't you think that's a bit inappropriate? </p> <p>So now as much as possible, I avoid using Bee's name. I call her "honey" instead. For a while, I tried calling her "Mommy" because that's what Charlie calls her... but let's be honest, that's a bit weird.
