I hope my bambinos call me it as well. I don't actually have a reason for saying it...I'm the only one I know who does but I think it sounds much better, more lilting.</p> <p>Edited to add- I don't recall when I started calling her mum...I think it developed from mumma. I wasn't aware that people may judge me for this! We are from Massachusetts and that's pretty common.
