Any longer than that and something is wrong (dropped his paci, for example). More often he stays awake for a bit (tonight it was an HOUR!) and rolls around his crib/cuddles his giraffe/rubs his blanket on his face. She cried for a few minutes yesterday and today before her nap and cried again tonight after we put her down. We left her up there for about 5-10 minutes and she cried so hard, she threw up a little :( I ended up holding her in the rocking chair and she fell asleep. I feel your pain...it's hard to hear when they are screaming out for Mama. He cried at first but it never lasted very long and would end up playing with his aquarium fishy or Scout before quietly falling asleep. She cried for 10 minutes yesterday and 4 minutes tonight. I hate it because she screams MOMMY, MAMA and the baby's name. She never cries for Daddy..weird! Does your LO cry at bedtime? All the time or just in phases? I hope this is just a brief hiccup!
