My best friend's daughter does this! They can have the EXACT SAME food on their plates, but her daughter doesn't want to eat what's on her plate, she wants to eat off her mom's!

I try that Jedi mind trick often but it is not a consistent winner in my household. It still has to be something that she likes to eat. My LO just doesn't like meat all that much so she might steal that first initial bite from my plate but that doesn't mean I can get her to eat the whole piece. I find it hardest to trick her when it comes to food!

Tonight Charlie ate an entire piece of ham. If I had given it to him, I'm sure he would've refused it. But because I was eating it, he stole it off of my plate and gobbled it down.

Sometimes I wonder if I should just let him eat food off of my plate. It is easier to Jedi mind trick him into eating what I eat, versus trying to cram random other food down his throat!
