My girls are like yours - ready to eat ASAP. occasionally on the weekend I can buy myself 20 mins to snooze on the couch by offering an episode of Dora, but not always. They offen wake me up by telling (whining) about how hungry they are!

I remember waking up do hubgry I felt nauseous as a child, so I try to respect their needs....but I prefer w much more leisurely wake up, if I get a say! :)

Nope - she is usually up for at least an hour before she decides she's hungry and wants to eat. If I try to feed her right away, she eats horribly. She's like her mama - her body has to spend some time waking up in the mornings!

They nurse right when they wake up, then play or read books for about 30 min. Then they have breakfast.

She's only 10 months, but we get her bottle ready right around the time she should wake up. God forbid she wait 2 minutes for a warm bottle! She eats her actual breakfast 1-1/2 hours after waking.

Not at all. Unless she wakes up really late she almost always plays for a while- like up to an hour- before eating. Enough time for Dh and I to have our coffee. It's pretty nice!

Used to be right away after getting ready for the day. Probably around 3 she stopped eating much at breakfast so we pushed it back and I let her play a bit. She used to be such a huge breakfast eater and not so much anymore. I think her growth is just slowing down bc she just doesn't eat as much as she now at 4

As soon as he wakes up he gets one of those snack catcher cup things with a handful of Cheerios and a cup of milk. He just kinda grazes while he plays. Then about an hour after he wakes he has his actual breakfast.

Right away she gets a breakfast bar or waffle. Then she has a second breakfast later on.

Or do they play a bit and then eat? My girls are always starving when they wake up, so they want to before we do anything else. If we don't feed them right away, they get super cranky and the rest of the morning is rough. Then they usually follow up with a second breakfast an hour after that one!
