Dinner can be a struggle... I would say maybe one day a week he is excited to eat and eats on his own. His biggest meals are lunch and dinner. He may/may not finish his breakfast but he'll usually eat most of his food. Like today - she finished a full cup of yogurt for breakfast and had 1/2 a scrambled egg + cheese, 2 chicken nuggets, and a handful of puffs for lunch. Not great meals, but I was okay with it. First meal is great. He impresses me! But then disappoints majorly for that second meal. He has breakfast & dinner. Most days she eats a light breakfast, big lunch and big dinner, but there are times when she'll switch it up...and eat a ton for breakfast, small lunch and huge dinner. I usually look at protein consumption - if she's hit the mark on that, I don't stress about what else she eats that day, as long as she seems happy. Lunch will many times come back barely touched. She says "but teacher said lunchtime is over" which means she was yapping with her friends and didn't really eat. He basically only eats half a lunch and refuses everything else. I don't worry if she doesn't eat well for a meal because she's usually such a good eater. For instance they both ate well for breakfast and lunch today, and they hardly touched any dinner. That's pretty normal and I'm happy if they got 2 good meals (especially for Olive because even 1 good meal is tough!). How well does your LO eat for each meal?
