But I think that's because we see these friends fairly often because when I plan playdates with other kids, she loves them ... but never thinks to ask for them. So now we're going to get together for a playdate - one of our first initiated by a friend of Charlie's!</p> <p>Sometimes Charlie will ask to have a playdate with someone he misses. More often, a parent that we're friends with (and that has kids the same age as ours) will initiate a playdate... or we will. Over time, Charlie's gotten much more particular about who he wants to hang out with - another sign that he's getting older, and wants to make more of his own decisions!</p> <p>Does your LO ever ask to have a playdate with a particular friend?
