We would tell her that we are having a conversation and she needs to be patient and wait her turn. My best friend's daughter has recently started doing this too! My friend and her daughter will be over and my friend will be trying to talk to me, and her daughter will just be all "Shhh!" or "Stop talking!" especially to her mom.</p> <p>I don't have any advice because I don't have kids yet, but my friend will just tell her "That's not very nice to say - I'm in the middle of a conversation and I will stop when I finish what I have to say" and then just ignore her daughter if she continues to insist that we "stop talking."
