How cute! I love watching my LO play by herself.

She brings into the crib a soft kitten puppet that has become her lovey. We bought three of them just in case we lose the first two.

Glo-worm. We have two and LO was stunned when he realized he's got more than one.

He sleeps with Percy every night ever since he got it for Christmas. He'll also bring a book of his choosing sometimes. He also has a giraffe lovey which he snatch from his sister when she was first born.

She's too young to sleep with things in her crib. I've tried giving her a lovey to sleep with for naps because I'm always there to watch her, but she has no interest yet. I remember how much I loved my favorite stuffed animal, so I'm looking forward to when she has that too.

We bought Charlie a little train (Spencer from Thomas and Friends) and he was so excited! He asked to hold it while we did his nighttime ritual, and then he even brought it into the crib with him.

He held it all night and when he woke up, he played with Spencer in the crib silently for about 20 minutes. Bee and I watched him on the video monitor and cracked up! Oh, we love our Charlie... :-)
