He does all the time when he's excited. For now it's cute since he's small, but we are hoping he will just outgrow it because we don't have a way to make it stop.

LO does not have an inside voice. He doesn't scream most of the time but he just starts talking very loudly to wait staff or random people at restaurants.

My nephews do sometimes when they get really excited when playing. When they get like that I just remind them to quiet down and they usually do. My niece hardly ever really.

My husband's niece does a lot for attention and when she gets angry. That, I can't take.

Never heard of a child that didn't, to be honest.... the best ,though, is one of DH's work colleagues. Was out shopping with his daughter, she was about 4 at the time, and he'd forgotten her harness. She was making a run for it, going off exploring, and he grabbed the back of her sweater as it was the only bit he could reach quickly. Top volume: " You can't touch me there!!"
Cue angry red faced dad :)

YES! And he did learn it from his "girlfriend." I usually just ignore it or try to distract him so I don't give it attention. Thankfully (knock on wood!), he rarely does it at the restaurants. But I think it's part of being a kid too. I'm a total hypocrite b/c I don't like hearing kids scream but mine does from time-to-time. Haha!

Haha. My LO doesn't do it that often but she does yell at the top of her lungs "Bye everybody" when we leave daycare. That is one of the only times she yells so I think that one is ok. She just wants to make sure everyone gets her message!

Recently Charlie started yelling at the top of his lungs now and then at the playground. If we're there with one of his friends, then they will often start screaming and I feel bad... like he's teaching his friends how to be a screamer!

Does your LO ever scream or yell? How do you get them to be quiet? Or is yelling at the top of your lungs just part of being a kid...
