All the time. It's almost never lunch, but he regularly skips breakfast and/or dinner. He's a terrible eater in general, though.

It's been happening more and more lately. Especially with my mom, since she watches him during the day. He'll refuse lunch and then sometimes he'll wolf down dinner with DH and I and other times he won't really eat enough to make up for it. I try to have him drink a little extra milk before he goes to bed and hope for the best... :silly: He's never woken up hungry in the middle of the night!

Yes - he is not a breakfast person. He will skip it a few times/week, and occasionally skip either lunch or dinner if he's cranky and in a bad mood.

M skips dinner a lot, at least 3x a week. According to her daycare lady, she usually eats at least a little bit for breakfast and lunch. On days she totally skips dinner, I offer her a snack, but more times than not she will just flat out reject that too. She's never woken up in the MOTN due to hunger for quite some time though- usually its teeth or being sick if she does. She's just really not a big eater lately for some reason. This weekend, she didnt eat anything for breakfast, lunch, OR dinner and just had some bites of fruit all day

@hilsy85: Oh no, M would never. She's a hungry hungry hippo. I don't know how she manages to never put on weight. Oh wait, yes I do... she never stops moving!!! Yesterday we went out for frozen yogurt and she was taking drive by bites of berries from me as she ran up and down the yogurt shop with her friend.

@MamaMoose: that makes sense though, if she's snacking a lot to skip a meal. My LO will just go huge chunks of time without eating--so weird!

On the weekends LO pretty much just grazes all day. On school days she sticks to her meal schedule nicely.

@shopaholic: ha Lo will definitely ask for food if he's hungry, but if he's asking, that means he needs food like 10 minutes ago!

Yes once or twice. Usually on my account of forgetting when we have weird nap days. But K is so weird. She never cries about being hungry or asks for food.

He has, yes. His meal of choice to skip is usually breakfast. But last night he did not want dinner.

Last night LO had a snack at 3:45pm (some berries) and then didn't eat ANYTHING the rest of the night. He completely refused dinner and didn't want anything else. He does this (completely skips a meal, usually lunch or dinner) maybe 2-3x a week? I'm always nervous with dinner because I"m afraid he'll wake up in the MOTN hungry! Does your LO ever do this?
