Nope. His eyes will sometimes start to close if we're on our way home close to nap time, but he's never really been a car napper.

Now that she is old, it is less frequent. But I still sit in the back to keep her up if we are more then 20 mins away and it is before nap time.

We pushed LO to one nap at 14 months, about a month ago, and she has done really well, but she still falls asleep in the car if she has been awake for 3 hours or more, no matter if it is not naptime yet, or if she already had her nap. So basically 10am-12pm and 5pm-bedtime are not good times for car rides because she is sure to take a catnap and make naptime or bedtime a battle.

The car has always been hypnotic for her, so maybe it will always be this way? It makes me feel a little bad, like she still needs more than her one 2-hour nap, but she has done pretty well on this new routine.
