But not because she can't get at the food, it's because I can't play with her. DH will usually take her to the park or just play with her in her room when I make dinner. I established early on that 'mama/daddy is cooking' means that I won't pick her up right then, and she gets it, to a degree. I get around this by putting him in his high chair with some puffs on his tray. It keeps him occupied until I can get his food ready.
