It was so kind of them! The clothes were still in good condition even through 2 girls and LO wears them to daycare. It was awesome! We supplemented with our own. When my BFF found out she was preggo with a boy that will be born a couple months after DS's bday, I gave her all my clothes. Hand me downs are awesome! Not just clothes--everything: toys, books, big baby items.</p> <p>I have a love-hate relationship. Sometimes I get frustrated because I've already picked out something (say, a baby bouncer) and then my in-laws come to visit and bring their old one. I'm happy to get it for free, but simultaneously sad it's not the model or color I prefer. a lot of the clothes are opposite season, because Dh's niece was born in December and my Lo was born in July. I just take all the clothes, and sort out what I think we can use and donate the rest.</p> <p>In the end, I've decided the positives outweigh the negatives. It was amazing in that first year though!
