She didn't until she was about 3.5? Then she realized she could come out. Lol! Then we got her a light that turns off when it's ok to come out, if she wakes up early. Now her body is programmed and she doesn't need the light anymore. Plus, she needs to pee once she wakes up!

This is why I want her to sleep in her crib until she's 8.

She comes in our room, every time. It's always before wake up too, like 4 am, and she crawls in and goes back to sleep. It's an awful habit! ha

DS is in his converted crib (one open side) and still doesn't get out of the bed. He calls for us, and when we come in he gets out himself.

DD called out for us to get her the first few months of transitioning to her twin bed but now she walks right in when she wakes up. :silly:

A is still in a crib. That is one of my fears about transitioning her.

Or do they wait for you to come in and get them? Obviously E is in a crib but A has started coming out of her room when she is awake in the morning. It's not terrible but she is coming out right when she gets up vs laying there a bit before I go get her, so it makes for an earlier morning. It's been a little tricky at rest time too, she will only hang out in there a short time before trying to come out.
