It was always in the 25-30% range. My daughter's is in the 50% range so pretty average. I have a larger than average head and DH's nickname among his friends is "Dome Head" (and he has an impossible time finding hats that fit). We actually had to go in for head growth checks for the first several months to monitor for hydrocephalus because his noggin is so big. Huge heads run in both sides of the family, though. Luckily I only pushed for 15 minutes and got a small 1st degree tear. Every time we have a well baby check up, the doctor always remeasures his head, because according to the nurses' measurements he would be totally off the charts. Also, doctor told us a rapidly growing head could signal serious problems so he is careful about his measurements.
