It was nice to have the option of a couch in my room or a bed for sleepovers.</p> <p>ETA: We are considering a loft bed for DS's room because it is so tiny. I used to make a "fort" by hanging sheets from the sides, my little brother used to have "sleep over" often, and it was really nice to have when friends/cousins visited. I like the idea of a bunk bed because it will take less space than a regular bed and there are some really cute options out there. But I feel like she doesnt really need a bunk bed as DS is way to little to bunk with her and he has his own crib in his room. And she wont have sleep overs as often as she thinks. I would rather get a loft bed instead with a desk and storage underneath.
