Yes! After 2 it really took off! He is always playing pretend things (cooking, stuffed animals, figures). It's super cute.

Yes! He's 18 months and loves to pretend everything is a phone. He holds anything appropriately sized/shaped stuff up to his ear and has super long conversations that are 95% babbling with lots of obviously forced laughter (he literally goes 'Ha ha ha!) And I save empty food containers and fast food cups because he likes to pretend to eat and drink, complete with sound effects.

My oldest LO will be 2.5 in a couple months and her imagination has exploded in the past week or two! It's so fun seeing what she comes up with for ideas. She always has her stuffed friends join her for meals, feeds them, talks to them, etc....it's adorable. I can't believe some of the things she picks up from our past conversations and uses during play.

Does your LO have a pretty good imagination? How old were they when it really started to show?
