I got a pr for my son (navy) when he was 18 mos and he enjoyed wearing them so I got another pair for him this past summer at 2.5 as well. I will do the full toe version for him this summer at 3.5 since he is more rough/tumble with his play now. They are gender neutral and hold up so well, don't get stinky, and can be worn in the water ...
