If I am in the room and someone besides me tries to pick him up he bursts into hysterical tears and flings himself towards me. This should be reallyyyy fun since I'm having a c-section on Friday and won't be able to pick him up for at least 2 weeks! Daddy does bath every night &amp; she goes through phases of being okay with it &amp; going insane if he touches her. She's okay if I'm not around but God forbid someone other than me (or my dad for some reason) tried to pick her up or comfort her when she knows I'm in the house. She will lose it. She is used to me doing her bedtime, but when I can't do it... she's just fine with her mom doing it. When she wakes up in the middle of the night though, she usually calls for me.</p> <p>Our son has a bit more of a dad preference these days. But if I'm not around, he adapts very quickly. It's nothing like the days of yore, when he had a massive mommy preference and cried when she wasn't available.</p> <p>Does your LO have a parental preference these days? </p>
