Also while traveling and we'll pull it out during long meals out (i.e. extended family dinners). He gets the tablet for car rides and pooping in the potty. Then other times as we want. He is occasionally able to understand the idea of "until the end of the show" now. We give rewards and praise for giving it to us when we ask for it. Whining has been an issue for us lately and so if he is whiny he loses his tablet for the day. Also if he has a potty accident at school he knows he doesn't get it that evening. She plays games on our phones so we are ok with her playing games here and there on a tablet but we wouldn't want her sitting there playing it all day. We want to set limits on it though, but not sure what is fair. Does your LO have a tablet of their own? Or if they play on yours how do you set limits? How much time do they get on it per day? I'm thinking it will be nice to use at night when I'm trying to get LO2 down to sleep! </p>
