My kids like climbing to the second floor and going down the slide. I don't remember what was in it, I just know we spent a lot of time playing in there! Wish she had something as cool as I did growing up. </p> <p>My dad built us a tree house on tall stilts (with a roof) with real stairs as a kid. It was probably about 10 feet square and had Windows cut out also. There was a tall picket fence around it and a sandbox below also. There was a rope on a pulley with a bucket so we could haul things up the side. It has a pull out table and I put in a chair for her. My dad promised to build me one once (it was a bribe but I can't remember for what) but he never did. We had a shed that my parents let us use as a playhouse but then our neighbour and another girl down the street stopped letting me use it because I wasn't in their club (I know! It was in my backyard!). LO2 uses it all the time. She really loves to play in i tand I love it because it's right outside our kitchen window so she can play while I put dinner together. </p> <p>My parents built a massive treehouse in their backyard for the grandkids, including two covered platforms, a slide, a swing and a fireman pole. It's really awesome, but LO2 is still a little scared to play on it by herself. I don't blame her though, it's really high. So yesterday DH added sides, made the stairs easier to climb, and we threw some rugs in it. The girls love it! It needs a paint job but otherwise I think it'll be hours of fun! </p> <p>Does your LO have a play house of any sort? What's in it for them to play with? </p>
