If we're in the car we often hang DH's t-shirt on her window if we want her to nap. She'll pull the shirt over and hold it like a lovey and suck her thumb :) Usually she uses a burp-cloth as a lovey.

My LO's lovey is my hands. She has to run her fingers over mine, hold my hands in hers and take my hands and puts them on her forehead in order to fall asleep. It's really sweet - - but means she has trouble falling asleep without me! She does ok at daycare, but if I'm around, she needs my hands.

Those are so cute! Right now DS has a little minky security blanket, so I feel like that's pretty normal. When I was a kid, my lovey was a Popple! Does anyone remember those?

Charlie decided that my tee-shirt is his lovey. I have about 20 versions of the same shirt in a bunch of colors, and he will use any of them at night (but his favorite one is red). Sometimes if he can't find the lovey he's been using, he'll make me take my shirt off before he goes to sleep!

In the mornings, he has started putting on my shirt on top of his pajamas (?!). I wish I understood how his brain works... or that he could explain to me why he does what he does.

Olive's lovey is a burp cloth.
