dada all the way right now (13m)! Most of the time, he will let me do stuff...but if he sees/hears dada somewhere else in the house, he immediately melts down until dada comes into the room with him. He is also oscillating between super clingy and super independent - I pretty much always guess wrong, and that is met with screaming/flailing until he gets what he wants.

Um, whichever parent is the opposite of what she's getting. Seriously, if I tell her daddy is doing bed time she cries for me, if I tell her I'm doing bedtime, she cries for daddy. Little stinker.

Mama's boy here! DS has a complete meltdown if I leave the room (even if I'm just down the hall) and prefers me over daddy anyday.

She's been having a major mommy preference for the past few weeks. It started around the time she started preschool. She's almost three and up until now, I've always been with her - never did a drop-off type class. I'm also 21 weeks pregnant, which she understands (as much as she can) so not sure if that has something to do with it.

YUP. Team Mommy all the way. My LO has big issues if I'm home and not with her (like if DH tries to play with her in another room so I can cook or clean or just not be toddler wrangling). She also sobs every time DH takes her to bed.

But I feel like somehow she is ALSO more attached to DH too. She recently started running to him and wanting to be picked up the second he gets home from work, which is new. And she she loves hanging with him if I'm totally out of sight.

Ugh all mommy right now which sucks when I'm so big and pregnant. Won't let daddy take him to the potty in the middle of the night :(

We've currently switched from Daddy's Girl to Team Mama, all day, every day. Today's the first day she willingly went to DH without a fight in a long time. Mama's exhausted.

Mommy, all day every day. Poor DH gets almost no affection. The only way to get her to hug or kiss him goodbye is to make a game of us kissing her back and forth, first mommy, then daddy, and on and on. So at least he gets that. And she will let him sooth her back to sleep in the middle of the night.

Basically she's fine with him but would always prefer it be me. And it's exhausting for me and doesn't feel very good for him.

Major mama attachment right now. They have always been team mom (ahem, team boobs) but they are going through some major separation anxiety lately. They've also become a little possessive about sharing me with each other and a couple times lately A has tried to push B off my lap when we are all snuggling together before their nap.

He's started allowing D to go in, change his diaper and put him back to bed when he wakes up at 4-5AM, though, so I got that going for me :silly:
