She loves butter, she'll lick it off bread. She insists on doing random things all by herself (throwing away her diaper, putting on her boots, choosing what cartoon to watch on Netflix), if we help in away way, it's a potential meltdown, but if we wait a few minutes, we can usually help or fix things (like shoes on the wrong foot).

Too many. A few are: DD1 (2 yrs old), complains that all her clothes are too tight (they're not), thinks every sound is too loud, and for a while only would wear her kitty pjs.

E...has so many quirks. She won't let me clean her ears, comb her hair or brush her teeth. I obviously have to do all of those daily so, that's fun.

B has to clean his toes every night before bed lol. And N, she's too little for quirks but I can't wait to find out what hers are!

Our older daughter needs the "crown spoon" every morning for her cereal. She also insists on dresses that "twirl well" to wear every day. Her quirky dressing style (skirt under her dress) is very particular and she is prone to meltdown if her preferences are not fulfilled. She only drinks from the pink cup and if that one is not available she will only drink from glass. She is over the top quirky. These preferences are only the tip of the iceberg. I could detail for you how foods need to be arranged on the plate, how she prefers to get in and out of the car, which stuffed animals she will or won't bring to school. Which books she will or won't agree to read to me. The list goes on and on....

My younger daughter, on the other hand, goes with the flow almost completely. She's kind of awesome that way!

haha "accidentally splash water on her." Good thinkin', mama!

My LO always has to wear a bow (she screams for one if we leave house and her hair is not in a pony/bow and therefore in her eyes), she has to eat frozen mango every single day, and she puts herself to sleep by putting her fingers along the corner seams of her lovey blanket.

LO likes to have her knees covered. She always asks for pants instead of shorts to "keep her knees warm." And she'll randomly freak out about it. She even covers them up when she sits on the potty. Weird.

Haha! LO went through a stage where she wore her pj top under her clothes. She wouldn't cooperate and DH was in charge of taking her to preschool while I went to work so that's just how she rolled for a few months!!
It is way easier for me to dress her than it is for me to argue with DH about proper dressing but that's another story.

Mine refuses hair bows/clips, hates most tops and won't wear shoes without socks. She is obsessive about her pajama tops and hates taking them off in the morning. She usually lets me put on her pants/leggings/shorts and then we wait until we are walking out the door to take her shirt off.

I found this morning that if I "accidentally" splash water on her shirt, she will want to take it off. ;-)
