No. It's basically the opposite. LO has no impulse control, so I have to keep anything important away from her. Two year olds are fun. ;)

It depends. She picks up my kindle and says "it's mommy's book!" She will pick up my phone and try to play with it (which is why I lock it!). But she knows if the phone is charging she can't touch it. Things like pens are too great a temptation for her.

The baby's things, on the other hand, she will not leave alone. So annoying.

She's pretty respectful. I can leave my phone lying around and she doesn't touch it, unless it's in her way, then she'll bring it to me.

She likes to bring them to us. It makes her very proud to "hep" by giving things to the people that they belong to. She's not always the most gentle, but it's very sweet.

So far my son likes to pick my things up but usually it's to bring it to me. "Here mommy, I find your phone."

Ha mommy's coloring books and markers are a constant temptation. I wish she could learn!

Mine understand. Occasionally, my younger one will climb into my work chair and play with things on my desk, but not that often.

If you leave something of yours out, does your LO know to respect it, for the most part? For example, if you have a book out, will they grab it or just leave it be?

My girls are pretty good about respecting our things, they will grab and look at things sometimes but they are very nice with it. If there is something I ask them not to touch they are usually good about listening. I have adult coloring stuff that stays out on the table and they know it's mommys and they can look but they don't usually bother it.

How is your LO with this type of thing?
