I guess unless it is a lie about something really bad we can just correct them and say "Yes, you did do that" but they don't need any discipline yet. I am not sure at what age should you start things like time out or other forms of discipline for more serious offenses. And he'll say, no... even though he did it right in front of me! (@Andrea reminded me of this, when she mentioned in a post that her LO said "no fart" after clearing tooting in the tub.)</p> <p>I am pretty sure Charlie is purposefully hiding the truth, but I haven't called him out on it yet. I mean, he is only 22-months-old so I am cutting him some slack. :-)</p> <p>It did get me thinking about how to handle things when he lies at an older age. Have you caught your LO telling an outright lie? How did you handle it? </p>
