<description>&#60;p&#62;Yes, but I think they are too young to know what they are doing is incorrect and that it is called lying?  I guess unless it is a lie about something really bad we can just correct them and say &#34;Yes, you did do that&#34; but they don't need any discipline yet.  I am not sure at what age should you start things like time out or other forms of discipline for more serious offenses.  Curious to know!

<description>&#60;p&#62;Charlie denies things all the time, when I know that he did it!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Like he'll do something and I'll ask him, did you do this?  And he'll say, no... even though he did it right in front of me!  (@Andrea reminded me of this, when she mentioned in a post that her LO said &#34;no fart&#34; after clearing tooting in the tub.)&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I am pretty sure Charlie is purposefully hiding the truth, but I haven't called him out on it yet.  I mean, he is only 22-months-old so I am cutting him some slack. :-)&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It did get me thinking about how to handle things when he lies at an older age.  Have you caught your LO telling an outright lie?  How did you handle it?
