DD hated them until recently. She's 2 now and likes (or tolerates) a bow in her hair. She also never had much hair until recently. I still don't think I could get it into a "whale spout" or other ponytail.

My DD has way, way too many! Mostly headbands but now that we are growing out the bangs she has to have a fluffy clip in her hair plus a headband...

She pulls out clips in the car, or when sitting still (like in a shopping cart) but otherwise forgets them. I can only get away with putting her hair up when she is eating, otherwise she won't sit still. Headbands are ripped off before I get them all the way on.

no, she cries when I do her hair and we only do a whale spout to get her bangs out of her face.

LO 1 didn't like them for the longest time but now she wants wear a bow 24/7...even when she bathes, sleeps and swims.

LO 2 hates bows so I usually put her hair into a whale spout ponytail with a tiny Goody elastic.
