We swam all last summer when he was about 8-12 months so he got really used to it. We're taking swimming lessons now.<br /> He's also a weirdo who has always loved water in his face. When I rinse him in the bath he begs me to pour it on his face and use the sprayer. Now that he's taking swimming classes he loves sticking his face in the water and being dunked. We worked our way up to using floaties without any problems. He's been in swim classes since 1 and is having a ball swimming "by himself" w floaties. </p> <p>We have yet to see if ds2 loves it the same. We're in Florida right now but it's a bit too windy to take him in the pool! </p>
