<description>&#60;p&#62;I think so.  We had a heater on in her room when she was very small which had a faint light.  When I took it away, her sleep fell apart.  Brought in an ipod dock with a light and she was fine again.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Our almost three-year-old daughter likes to sleep with the door open and the hallway lights on.  If I leave the room before she falls asleep, she usually runs out and asks me to turn on all the lights in the living room because of the monsters.  So I guess in her mind, lights scare away monsters?&#60;/p&#62;
