@Cchoi4: we're pretty quiet! There's a white noise machine in her room too, which helps I think.

@mrbee: if you leave the door open to her bedroom, does she not wake up from the noise you and Mrs. Bee make in the rest of the house? (I'm assuming your daughter goes to bed earlier than you and Mrs. Bee)

our older son has one of those sleep turtle constellation night lights but that turns off after some time. Our younger son sleeps in the dark but sometimes I'll leave his closet light on with the doors closed so that only a little light peeks into the room. No hallway lights or any other lights in the house are on during bedtime but the boys each sleep with their doors closed so it doesn't matter.

J doesn't care, but N needs the closet door light on. They share a room so when we put J to sleep first his room is pitch black, but when it's time to put N to bed we tiptoe in and end up turning on the closet light.

Nope, she sleeps in a pitch black room! We used to have a nightlight but it actually bothered her....she likes to be in complete darkness that little vampire!

Yup, a total of 3 nightlights. One stays on the whole night, the others are on timers.

Mine does, but then I feel like she stays up longer and plays in her bed if there are lights on.

We leave our daughter's door open at night, and now in addition to her nightlight... she asks that we turn on the hall light. Also, the two living room lights, the kitchen light and the light in the entrace way.

I've started saying no and she's ok with it as long as I'm lying next to her... but if I get up, then she asks for more lights!
