Yes, he does. He will go and get them to either look at himself or to have me read to him. I would say around 1 year he really took an active interest, before it was more passive, with me reading as part of nap routines.

Yes, he does. He "reads" books all day long. He mainly just babbles and imitates us reading the book but he loves flipping through them. I think I need to get him more books though. He seems bored of the ones he has.

DD loves story time! She's only 13 weeks old so I thought her attention span would be very short, but she will happily lay on the floor and listen to stories for 45 minutes at a time! She never takes her eyes off the pages whilst kicking her legs and making cooing noises/laughing whilst I read. I know she doesn't understand the stories yet (which is why we read the same 8 books over and over) but she absolutely loves looking at the pictures and listening to them. Hopefully this is an indicator that she'll love books as she gets older!

As far as I can tell, yes. She wants to read books as soon as she wakes up. Recently, she has started to "read" her books to us (the ones that she has memorized).

Books aren't milk, so no. But she's two months, so she digs on milk, cat naps, and ceiling fans with lights (the best).

Not sure yet... he's only 7 months so he's still into playing with the books more than reading, but we're working on it!! I try not to "force" him into reading them, but we read books before every nap and bedtime.

Charlie is definitely really into books! But he can't read yet, so mostly he memorizes the books and is dependent on me to read them for him. Which totally makes sense - he's not even 3 yet!

Still though, I don't think you can fully tell if someone will love books until they are voluntarily reading books on their own. So in the meantime, all we can do is read him a million books and get him to beg us to read books to him. By that metric, he really loves books! He doesn't go to sleep happy unless he's read 3 books... and lately he's been waking up early, so we have been reading books then too.
