90% of the time she is fine with it. I ask her if she wants to go to Target with me and she runs to the door.

DS doesn't mind at all! So glad. He does get a bit antsy and won't sit long in the shopping cart if we stay at one place too long.

Lo *loves* grocery shopping (much more than I do!). She loves to hold her own bag for fresh produce and carry around something (usually I give her an onion or lemon or something that won't get spoiled by being drug in a bag on the floor behind LO). She also loves pushing the cart and putting things into the cart. I have to keep an eye on her, as she will sometimes just pick whatever's at eye level for her on the shelf and add it to my cart!

@Anagram: My LO is the same. She'll last maybe 10-15 minutes max in the cart before the whining starts...I try and save the snacks until that point which buys me some time and then I often let her out. She's become pretty good at walking alongside the cart but she knows she's going straight back in if she runs off and I think she's starting to understand!

She's usually pretty chill. She doesn't like going in and out of the stroller or car seat but once in is usually happy for awhile. If we're using the carrier she's usually very content! She gets fussy only if she's hungry or about to fall asleep. She'll usually nap when we're on the go

No, she doesn't mind - she loves shopping and could spend hours at Target :) She hates being in and out of the carseat, though, so I can usually only run to 2-3 places before she gets cranky.

My LO doesn't mind running errands, but she's not one of those kids who sits nicely in a cart. I always take her with me, because I have to (There's not a second of my day outside work that she isn't with me), but it's not super easy because she either wants to run around or she wants me to hold her.

She just hates sitting in the cart for some reason. But if my husband and I are together and one person can just chase her around, she would go "shopping" all day long.

She seems to like it. It's a change of scenery and more often than not, there will be someone telling her how cute she is. :) But it's just been part of our routine since she was born.

@littlejoy: ha I was just saying this to Dh last night. Our friends son is an awesome sleeper at night but has a hard time going with the flow during the day. C is the opposite.

My kids last about an hour tops and then it's meltdown city. It's a bummer becausewe typically have to drive 15 minutes one way and we do larger shopping trips less often so it takes a while.

Do kids ever really enjoy going to the store/running errands?
