Yes! She only naps about an hour at daycare, but on weekends she can nap upwards of 3 hours.

Brennan is overstimulated at daycare. He loves staring at people. The ladies at daycare tell me whenever they change anything in the room, B notices it right away and will just stare at it.

Yup, same situation here. LO sleeps well on the weekends (probably because I lie down and nap with her a lot of the time!) – she can easily sleep for an hour or more a couple times a day.

During the week, we’re luckily to get a nap more than 20 minutes out of her!

I think/know that part of our problem is that LO’s biggest way to self-soothe is by holding and stroking my hands. At night she gets almost frantic if she can’t hold my hands while she falls asleep. I am trying to get her to soothe with her favorite soft toy (tried a lovey, didn’t work) but so far she just throws the toy out of the way and grabs onto my hands as hard as she can. Obviously at daycare, she can’t hold my hands to comfort herself so she rarely sleeps well there. :/

Same. Brennan sleeps amazing at home, he goes down for 3 naps, the first 2 range between 1 - 2 hours and then a catnap for his last nap of the day. At daycare he will get one 45 minute nap and 2 30 minute naps. Lately that feels like a victory. However, he sleeps through the night, so I can't really complain. I wish I didn't pick up an exhausted little boy all the time though. Oh yea, and with a contant runny nose. I have boogie wipes on subscribe and save so I get them monthly. I'm thinking about buying stock in the company. :)

T definitely naps more at home.

At daycare, his morning nap is short (45 mins) and he takes a longer afternoon nap (all the lights are off, soft music is going) of 1:30-2 hrs.

At home, his morning nap is at least 1:30 (sometimes 2 hrs) and his afternoon naps is 1 hr or 1:30. He also has the variable 3rd nap at home (which we've sort of phased out, unless we are in the car....he always seems to wake up cranky from a 3rd nap unless it's in the car).

Our lo naps so well at home on the weekends. She's in a dark room with white noise going. She will usually take at least one 2 hour nap and sometimes she takes 2 of those, along with a short catnap in the morning. During the week at daycare, she sleeps like crap. Too much going on is my thought.

Nothing much I can do about it, I'm really just looking to commiserate with others in the same situation. :)
