Come nighttime she'll eat fiercer then stuck around to comfort nurse. It sounds super similar to what you were dealing with, @sslm: , thanks for that link. She'll usually huge a suck or two if I force it, and then if I keep trying, that's when she melts down. The past few days I've been trying to just back off and feed when she's signaling she is. I realized I was offering almost every hour or two. I found it really upsetting!!! I wrote a post about it... Now at 9 months she'll typically latch on when I offer but if she's not hungry she just gives a couple of sucks and then pulls off and looks around.
