I used to (still do) take naps on the couch for about 30 mins to an hour while Lo played. Haha great parenting I know.<br /> I just made sure the house was baby proofed, she had access to all her toys and I napped! I've helped her to be independent from the start by not hovering, not leading or directing her play, and by allowing her near total (as long as she's safe) freedom to explore.
