I've been working on making sure they all know their first and last names. For a while one of my children- lets call him mike smith- would walk around telling people I'm john doe (another's child's name). Youngest sister (who is almost 8) always calls herself: A___ R. She signed one of my birthday cards like that once. I thought it was hilarious. She also tried to change her name to "something no one else in her class has" the other day. It isn't even that common, there just happens to be one other! Kids are cute. More recently, he's started to refer to himself with his full name: first, middle and last name! It's pretty random to hear but he seems to get a kick out of it. Does your LO refer to themselves with their first name + last initial, or their full name?
