Is she around 7-8 weeks? this has happened to me and three of my friends who had newborns this past summer/fall!! just keep at it... it's a phase. you could also try giving it while she's propped up in a bouncer or infant carseat... if you give it in a bf'ing position she'll go for the boob instead.

since I'm a SAHM and always around I don't give her the bottle much... it's just too easy to nurse instead. she will take about an ounce though, but she's very vocal about not preferring it. She'll grunt and give mean looks, but suck a little milk from the bottle, then repeat. it's sort of funny.

my cousin kept giving the bottle three times a day and it was a huge battle each time, but now at 3 months, he's taking bottles again like a champ. She's going back to work though so she was forced to really make it work.

the only advice I can give is to just keep practicing.

Yeah, my baby thinks a bottle is way uncool. She will take one from my husband and others tentatively but since we discovered her love of spoons we haven't really bothered with a bottle too much. We introduced a spoon at 4 months and she loves it, she will also take breastmilk on a spoon from me, she might have had spoon love earlier but we never thought to try.

Olive takes bottles from other people, but I think she is starting to reject the bottle from me and only wants to be nursed!

Anyone else have the same problem?
