<description>&#60;p&#62;My son doesn't like to do things he feels he isn't good at!  For example, he felt he wasn't a good writer for a while and so he wouldn't do writing exercises (e.g. where we give him a topic or question, and ask him to write about it).&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This been a huge area of focus for us this year, as practice makes perfect and you can't get better at something if you completely avoid it!  Although in all fairness, I don't like to dance and so I never do it - so I guess I'm guilty of this too!&#60;/p&#62;
