Since I'm sahm, there's no such thing as weekends or weekdays anymore. She just wakes up at 7a on the dot everyday :)

I wish my LO knew the difference between weekdays and weekends (although I am a SAHM so it doesn't make a huge difference)!

Except last weekend he was so good to us...Friday night he slept 5:30pm-5:45am then fell back asleep after I fed him until 7:45. That was such a glorious night of sleep that I wrote it down in his baby book. Saturday night DH took him up to his mom's and they slept until 7:30 (I was home alone and woke up at 7).

He wakes up at the same time every day (5 months old) but on the weekends, if I want to be a bit more lazy then I feed him, change him and bring him into bed with me for lazy times.

No. We have always kept to the same schedule since she started daycare. It is easier that way.

My kids are up around 6 every day of the week. I wonder when they start understanding the concept of sleeping in...

DH's in charge of putting her to bed in the weekends. I thought it was a great idea at first, but now I'm paying for a shift in schedule! So technically, her weekend schedule is different from her normal schedule, but it's because DH has a hard time putting her to bed (or he gives up and watches TV with her ...)

I wish. I've had to move our kid's schedule forward by an hour to accommodate for my son's preschool hours. By day two, my younger one has started waking up at the earlier time on her own. Now even on the weekends, she wakes up at 7am.

DS1 gets up every day at 7:30am. It doesn't matter when he went to bed. DS2 wakes up every day at 10am even if I try to force him to wakeup, he's not having it. If I can keep him up he will eventually fall asleep and make up the time I kept him up lol. This also means that DS2, is a night owl. The earliest I can get him to sleep now is about 9pm. Although we've entered the 4th month wakeful, so the schedule is all up in the air anyways.

@Mrs. Bee: Charlie does a complex calculation, that takes into account whether or not I'm tired and the time I went to sleep the night before!

I wake Olive up at 7:30am on weekdays so that she stays on the same schedule for naps and bedtimes. But on weekends, I let her sleep in and take longer naps, so her bedtime is usually 8:00pm instead of 6:30pm.

Do you let your LO sleep in on the weekends?
