If we don't bring something to help black out light and there aren't good blinds/shades she will wake up early though.</p> <p>Once when we were camping a car had it's alarm on and the stupid guy just kept driving it around the campsite because he was trying to get away from people, but there was no place to go. That made LO wake up and she stood up and said, "mommy. mommy. Up!" over and over. DH and I looked at each other trying not to laugh and played dead. They live in a fairly rural/quiet setting (can hear the waves crashing on the shore) while we live in an urban neighbourhood with street noise. We tried a month ago and we were up ALL NIGHT. She never slept longer than 30 minutes at a time and cried for hours at a time. (he is NOT a snuggler)</p> <p>the second night was better, but he fought naps that day...</p> <p>boy did it throw me off! :P</p> <p>hoping he'll be better in august for our weeklong vaca (he'll be 9 months then) </p>
