My oldest didn't sleep with anything until one day a couple of years ago (around 3-years-old and out of the crib) he decided to like Bedtime Carebear. It was SO random so we got him all of the ones that they were selling that Christmas (4 more). He still sleeps with that one. My youngest is still in the crib and hasn't gotten into wanting to sleep with anything yet.

Archer is 16months and he sleeps with his Carebear and Sheepy (security blanket shaped like a sheep). He keeps them with him all night long but biffs them out the cot in the morning when he wakes up!

DS throws everything out of his crib if I try to put it in there! By the morning, everything is in the perimeter of his crib.

DD sleeps with several! She always needs something with her.

DD has particular things that she must have in her crib at night. If something is missing, she knows. She will look for the missing object for hours. Lol. I now have a checklist of what she likes in there.

Every single night! We always have a few stuffies in there, and tonight a curious george book. I take out the excessive pieces so she has room to roam when I check on her an hour later, so they don't wake her up when rolling around at 3 in the morning.

yup. she has a posse that stays in her crib, and if I take them out to change her sheets and miss *one*, she knows and finds it and puts it back in. she has a tiny throw pillow thing, a stuffed goofy, a stuffed Hawaiian outfit minnie, some bath books (I could probably let her have some real ones, but she used to eat them! lol), her blankie, "other blankie," both wubbanubs, a fuzzy warm blanket, and next to her pillow, she has "baby cow" "baby giraffe" and "cat". it sounds like way more than it looks..hahaha.

I only allow her to sleep with her two jellycats. Sometimes she wants something else but I sneak it away when she gets drowsy. Last night she wanted her hello kitty cup really badly but I'm just afraid with hard things she'll roll over onto it and wake up.

DS's lovey and blanket stay in his crib. He gets to pick out 2 animal friends to read and go to bed with, it's part of the allure of bedtime!

DD just started bringing her Stella doll to bed, but its annoying because it says "Mama" if she squeezes her hand / lays on it the wrong way, and scares her!

LO is two and insists that certain toys are in her bed at night, I have no idea how she even has room to get comfy! I don't mind, but it's so funny the random things she chooses to bring in there. Tonight she has little people horses (almost always a must), a bunch of books, some plastic animals and a couple other random toys.

Does your LO bring toys to bed?
